OK back in bellingham. It seems as though the apartment is slowly falling together. I've been talking to Brandi and we both agree that our place is starting to look like an actual person's apartment and not just a college student's. I'm kinda excited. I mean we have pretty furniture, stuff that you wouldn't just get rid of when you moved but stuff that you would actually keep and like. That and we have a television that is beautiful, I wake up every morning and pet it and tell it how beautiful it is. Lol, just kidding. We still have a few things on our list to get but once we get them I can say I will be pretty happy with our apartment. So on to schooling, I've been a bad little procrastinator as usual. I have to finish my japan class by the 20th and guess what? I haven't finished anything.... heh heh well I've done a bit of research but thats about it. I have to complete a book, write an essay, and finish my journal. Today its my mission to go to the school and scan hella pictures for my book, I'm making a book of paper dollesk things. Hopefully I'll finish scanning everything and editing everything in photoshop so I can just print off and finish everything tomorrow or the day after. This is my plan at least. I was going to spend more time on the book but I decided it's best to finish things rather that perfect things but not finish. Ok so its coming up the BIG 21!!! I don't know it seem overshadowed by all thats been going on lately. You know, going to Japan, moving, setting up the apartment, finishing up my summer class/ researching for it. It may not seem like a whole lot but then there's the whole figuring out what to do with my life thing as well... lol, that one always works. I just wish I had put more effort into setting up a party/get together or something for my birthday cuz even though I've alluded to a bunch of people that I wanted to spend a night out on the town with them (No I didn't do this to everyone) for the past, well, six months! People seem to be just vaguely interested in going. Maybe it's because I didn't just sit everyone down as say,"This is what's happening!! Do it or DIE!" or "Keep August 5th completely open for me or DIE!". That and I haven't really confirmed plans plans with, oh, let's just say anybody. I guess it's mostly my fault cuz I kept on putting off making definite plans, you know, thinking that either things will just magically fall into place or that my birthday would never come. Plus I was kinda out of the country for a month right before my birthday, and still in the process of moving into my apartment once I got back. So all thoughts of birthday like activities had been pushed to the back of my mind. When did it get so complicated to just get together with your friends for your birthday? Maybe plans need to be rethought through? At first I didn't care so much what I was going to do on my actual birthday because I was going to go to Vegas later in the month, that being my defining birthday like thing but Vegas was canceled in the middle of my Japan trip and it doesn't look promising for it to be back on. I really had my heart set on Vegas, considering its been my plan since who knows when..... So I've been thinking for a long time about what major I should become because of the failure of Graphic Design and I'm thinking that Art History is the way to go! I know that it doesn't sound like the most practical major in the world but I do like learning about it and I've already taken four Art History classes. -mumble-time to talk to Julia -mumble- I'm still unsure, but hey I could become a docter! lol, I just can't help myself but here I am, on campus, waiting for my next class to start and who happens to sit next to me? A pair of gamer nerds! I don't know quiet why but it's HELLA funny to listen to them talk. Comparing Zelda games, talking about the advantages of different characters on rpgs. How is that not at least amusing to listen to? I mean I could probally join in at any minute and actually have a conversation with them, mind you I don't know a TON about video games, but that's besides the point! Sooooo boring.... I am currently in my Computer Science class, dynamic web pages for the win! Docter Granier is a great teacher but honestly right now I would rather he tell me a bedtime story than how to modify forms with javascript. Ok... random but I was just reminded of how much teachers amuse me. You know how sometimes they ask the class what something they're were talking about is? Like.... "What is the Internet"? then gesture to the class and wait for someone to answer. You know, to make sure people are actually listening? Well Docter Granier keeps on doing that and I swear you can hear the buzz of the florescent lights... it's already sad enough that there are only eleven people present, people can't even pretend to be awake enough to answer his questions. I guess I'm no exception....... hmm this situation reminds me of a certain A/HI class....... poor Julia, I blame those stupid A/HI 270 students!!!! Buddha and turquoise/blue FTW (if you get that you're awesome, just so you know) Anyways back to JavaScipt! Anyone wanna do my final project? I'll give you a 'special' present *wink*! I just wanna go home and pack/leave/get a swimsuit/get a book/watch Docter Who/play Phoenix Wright/finish painting and etching my mug/paint a world class painting/ become insta-RICH/cure world hunger... and make Obama president (thats a shout out for Megan) Is that REALLY too much to ask? Death by Sex........
Ok so me and Sami where just minding our business and then IT happened. The constant bouncing noise that came from the ceiling. Mind you all of the apartments in our building are four person apartments. At first I gave them the benefit the doubt, perhaps they like bouncing up and down for joy or maybe they were playing a new jumping version of DDR? But no it continued and increasingly got louder, to the point of the lights on our ceiling flickering. They even went out to balcony and not to mention moving sporadically to all parts of the apartment above us. Personally I don't care if other people want to have wild kinky sex but PLEASE do not make the ceiling of my apartment fall down on me in the process!!! Life SUCKS
Ok so I didn't get into the graphic design major at Western, I've taken too many credits and need to declare a major or else I can't take any more classes after this quarter, I've already put down a grand for the japan trip next quarter, which is a class through the school, it's looking like I'm going to have to move back home and then transfer schools, and to top it all off I dropped Alex and now he's dented. Hmmm... I feel like everyone always makes posts and I never make any....... wait, maybe thats because its true, lol! I dunno maybe its because I feel a little weird talking to people over the internet when I would much rather talk to someone in person. But here's an update to all of those peoples out there that I don't talk to on a normal basis and for those of you who just enjoy looking for my spelling and grammar errors, lol. Spell check is your friend!!! Ok! Boys..... because yes that is the most important thing in life, jk none really exist in my life right now, at least in the romantic sense. It's because Brandi took the last single jewish boy in the world, lol jk. But it's no big deal, I'm not seriously in the market right now anyways. School! The art department SUCKS ASS. I'm currently in the process of getting into the Design department at Western, I turned in my portfolio a week or so ago. If anyone wants the nitty gritty details about that endeavor ask Sami.... *sigh* I don't even want to think about it anymore *dramatic pose* So far Western has been pretty much awesome besides the Art Department of Doom they're almost as bad as Adobe been getting my usual B average : P As are for overachievers! Four year college's are pretty much awesome. I actually feel like I'm learning things that are useful in life and here I thought that school existed to just screw-around and meet people, lol. That and learn how to make your teachers happy, well that's how it feels somedays.
